   Ted Baker

Ted Baker began his career as a sales associate with DOE in 1966. In 1982, he purchased 50% of the company’s stock. Two years later, he became the president of DOE after purchasing the remaining 50% from Mr. Jesse Shearer, the company’s founder. Today, Ted serves as the owner of DOE. A graduate of Perryville High School, Ted lives in Danville with his wife, Betty and they have one grown son, Brian.

   Scott Bottoms

Scott Bottoms is the president of DOE. A native of Perryville, Scott graduated from Boyle County High School and received his bachelor’s of science in accounting from Eastern Kentucky University. In addition to having been an employee of DOE since 1992, Scott is also a baseball coach at Boyle County High School and a high school basketball official. Scott lives in Danville with his two children, Kyle and Blake.

   Don Linville

Don Linville has been a DOE manager since 1981. This Somerset native attended Morehead State University after graduating from Somerset High School. Active in the community, Don is a member of the local Kiwanis Club and the Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. He and his wife, Jan, have two grown children, Dana and Travis.

   James Miller

James Miller, a DOE manager, has been with the company since 1970. After growing up in Morgan County, he graduated from Clark County High School. Jim resides in Danville with his wife, June, and has two grown children, Karen and Sharon.

   Kenny Shelby

Kenny Shelby is the manager at the Lebanon branch of DOE. Originally from Harlan, he graduated from Middlesboro High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. Kenny has worked for DOE since 1979 and began managing in Lebanon when the store opened two years later. Kenny has two children, Adrienne and Megan, and his wife, Mary, also has two children, Evan and Tiffany.

   Dennis "Doc" Spangler

Dennis “Doc” Spangler is the store manager at the DOE location in Somerset. With the company since 1987, he started as a service technician and was soon promoted to service manager. Doc was raised in Stanford, graduated from Lincoln County High School and received a degree from Somerset Technical College. An active member of the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce, the Lincoln County Fair and Stanford Baptist Church, Doc lives in Stanford with his wife, Annette, and their two children, Leya and Rachel.

   Elaine Wood

Elaine Wood is the manager at DOE in Liberty. A native of Charleston, West Virginia, Elaine graduated from Mt. Dora High School in Mt. Dora, Florida and furthered her education at the University of Florida. Working for DOE since they purchased the Casey Print Shop in 1988, Elaine lives in Liberty with her husband, Tommy, and has two grown children, Preston and Sterling.
